Make a space in your calendar because next Sunday, July 7, the library will host a unique presentation of the XVI International Guitar Encounter of Panama. This festival is organized by the talented Panamanian musician Emiliano Pardo Tristán, who delighted our ears in the last concert and in other acclaimed presentations in previous years.
On this occasion, we will be visited by two virtuous young people who are part of the meeting: Marco Corrales from Costa Rica and Jesús Serrano from Mexico. The first of our guests was the winner of the First International Guitar Competition of Panama and since 2016 he started the corresponding recordings of his album: A century of Costa Rican guitar with eleven songs that immortalize the Costa Rican musical culture. The second, has won around 50 awards in America and Europe, is known as "the devil of the guitar" and stands out for its refined presentations and full of energy.
Get ready for a concert full of vibrant melodies through the guitar: a classic instrument that manages to reinvent itself day by day. Take the opportunity and accompany these musicians of international stature in this musical journey.
