With almost 20 years, the Panama Jazz Festival has become a cultural tourism attraction with the visit of more than 300,000 people from different latitudes. It was founded in September 2003 by the Panamanian Grammy winner, UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador, UNESCO Artist for Peace and Cultural Ambassador of Panama Danilo Pérez, with the mission of improving the lives of people through musical experiences shared on stage and in the classrooms.

From the heart of America to the World

The development of art, education and culture are emblematic features that are part of our mission, which has permeated the lives of hundreds of Panamanian children and young people for nearly two decades. The Panama Jazz Festival is a platform for cultural, social and educational mass exchange, where people from different countries, ages and social conditions come together to share ideas and interdisciplinary projects of high academic quality, covering all aspects of music. Thanks to the support of the Government of Panama, private companies, non-governmental organizations and our loyal public, the Panama Jazz Festival has become a national celebration, which has the great challenge of continuing to cultivate the artistic, educational and cultural offer at a single point. : "From the heart of America to the World".
